Circumcision is the surgical removal of the skin covering the top of the penis. For some families, circumcision is a religious ritual. This comment may be removed due to its radically contrasting natur, but I would like to partially thwart the spreading of misinformation. The greatest, and relatively insignificant benefit of circumcision is reducing the chance of HIV and STD, but this is merely a combination of hilariously stupid buzzwords, intended to be vague to prevent the discovery of their idiocy. For one, intercourse while diagnosed with HIV, without informing the partner is illegal to the degree of murder. Second, women have a roughly 7:1 UTI rate compared to men, an issue likely solvable by removing tissue that could trap bacteria, but oh no no, that would be female genital manipulation, so they are prescribed antibiotics. So why then, do be cut up the genitals of men with total disregard for an existing medical solution and the 7x un-likelyhood that they develop a UTI. In addition, why don’t we teach men proper hygiene, parents would rather remove the scientifically most sensitive and exogenous part of their baby than actually take the role of a parent and teach their child how to wash while in the shower. Thirdly, this article provides the typical medical jargon that is used to convince people of this brutal mutilation. Jargain like “no change to size or pleasure”, “improved time to reach orgasm”, and “No change to sensitivity”. These are not only conflicting, but misleading, misinforming and dumb.

Mechanically however, there are two even more masisve detriments, the glans (the purple tip), arguably as, if not even more erogenous as the foreskin, evolved to be an internal organ, hydrated, lubricated, and protected by the foreskin. But when the foreskin is removed, the glans dries up, callouses over, and becomes nearly unresponsive to sensation and touch. The second downside mechanically, is that the foreskin slides freely, over and back behind the glans, but the “revenge cut circumcision” leads to the foreskin healing, and sticking to just under the glans, then becoming incredibly tight around the penis, very nearly immobile, making natural masturbation, or unlubricated hand work by a partner impossible. While before the foreskin would have slid freely with the hand, after circumcision, the dry and rough hand would merely “scrub” and scrape against the shaft, to a healthy glans, this would be almost excruciating, as the hand has much tougher tissue, against the soft, supple, and delicate protected glans. But the callousing of the penis just means that this provides no pleasure, or very little.

Unfortunately, circumcision at birth results in a man who has no idea how much he has truly lost, and how great the pleasure in his life could have been. A man who never had half of God’s gift to us, would have no scale or reference of his personal loss. If the pleasure after mutilation is enough to prevent the protesting of the practice in unwitting subjects, what would it be like without the cutting.

TlDR, circumcision isn’t the alternative to healthy washing, and antibiotics. There is no medical benefit to circumcision when in the face of proper hygiene (litterally 30 seconds to wash in the shower), male genital mutilation is horrifying and should be outlawed.
